This four-hour photo safari takes you from Longyearbyen into Adventdalen and Bjørndalen, two contrasting Arctic landscapes surrounded by mountains, tundra and wide open valleys.
The tour combines scenic driving, carefully selected photography stops and short walks. The route is adapted to the season, current light, weather conditions and wildlife activity.
Adventdalen is known for its broad valley landscape, winding river systems and expansive views. Bjørndalen offers a more enclosed coastal valley with dramatic mountains, geological formations and changing Arctic light.
You do not need professional equipment or previous photography experience. You can participate with a camera, a smartphone or simply join to enjoy the landscape and wildlife.
