This Northern Lights photo safari takes you into Adventdalen, where we wait for the perfect moment to witness the colorful lights dancing across the sky. With a bit of luck, you’ll experience this magical phenomenon in one of the most unique Arctic settings. The surrounding Svalbard landscape enhances the experience in a special way. The clear air and dark skies, free from light and atmospheric pollution, create an almost otherworldly atmosphere, as if you were on another planet. This tour is ideal for photographers of all levels.

– No drinks or snacks are served on this tour.

– There are no special discounts for children on this tour.

– We are happy to assist wheelchair users and guests with other disabilities; however, the transfer bus is not specially adapted. A folding wheelchair can be carried in the trunk.

Do not forget

It is important to bring a tripod with you on the tour, as Northern Lights photography requires longer exposure. We will assist you in capturing the moment so that you can take beautiful souvenir photos home with you.

Fun fact

The Northern Lights can be considered “southern lights” for us in Longyearbyen because, given Svalbard’s location north of the Northern Lights Oval, there is a good chance we will have to look south to see them.

Pick up

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Longyearbyen and dropped off again at the end of the tour.
