Private Longyearbyen Sightseeing
Discover Longyearbyen, Adventdalen and the surrounding road network on a fully private sightseeing tour tailored to your interests, schedule and available time.
A sightseeing tour designed around you
Explore Longyearbyen and its surrounding Arctic landscape in a completely private setting with a dedicated local guide and vehicle.
Unlike a scheduled group tour, this private experience can be adapted to your interests, available time, mobility and preferred pace. The tour may focus on Longyearbyen’s history, mining heritage, Arctic research, local life, landscapes, photography, wildlife or a combination of these subjects.
The route can include Adventdalen, Longyeardalen, the airport area, Hotellneset, viewpoints near the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, the Arctic World Archive and the main landmarks within Longyearbyen.
Stops and routing are selected according to weather, road conditions, visibility, seasonal conditions and your individual interests.
Longyearbyen through the seasons
From the midnight sun and colourful summer tundra to polar night, snow-covered mountains and northern lights, every season gives Longyearbyen a different character.
